“So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.”

“You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.” (Proverbs 19:21)
These new changes we are all living through can be hard and have unexpected effects, but we need not be discouraged for God is with us!
From 61-63 A.D., Paul wrote the prison epistles: Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon. Prison couldn’t stop Paul from spreading God’s message, and we shouldn’t let social distancing and stay-at-home measures stop us. We can use this time at home to spread the message of Christ’s love, encourage others with Scripture, and share hope and truth through our social media accounts and messages to friends.
With hundreds of thousands of Americans now working from home and schools all across the country closed, we have to adapt to this new, temporary lifestyle. However, this social distancing and shelter-in-place lifestyle that we are observing shouldn’t disconnect us from God or our brothers and sisters in the faith.
