Signature Style

All artists have a signature style. Van Gogh’s swirls, Picasso’s geometric figures, Romita Jr.’s blockiness—the well trained eye can spot an artist’s work over the years because the signature style is part of the creation.

“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” (Romans 1:20)

“Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.” (Colossians 1:15-16)

“The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.” (Psalm 19:1-4)

“By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” (Hebrews 11:3)

“The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born.” (Hebrews 11:3)

From a tree stump to a fingerprint, a lung to a tree branch, or the veins that carry water to a leaf, blood throughout the body, or water to the oceans, the signature style of God can be seen throughout creation. Do you see God’s signature style in His Creation?
